Sound Of Warning Poem by Clare Murgor

Sound Of Warning

Rating: 5.0

The morning was beautiful,
Rays of the sun rather kind
In need to make it's way through pieces
In need to disseminate itself to light
It is always beautiful at first
Like love...

But then,
There came a dark wave
A dark wave of unknown torture
A dark wave of no remorse
A dark wave with silent cries
The sun had served it's purpose
The torrential sounds of the rain beggining to sound like warnings
It was time to leave, not to plead
