Sour-Sugar Poem by priscah Mutswenje

Sour-Sugar

Love as it turns sour
One will feel like puking
The unswallen,
And excrete the uneaten.
Love
As it turns sour
It is a brutal rattle snake
Biting to kill,
A horrid hooting shark
Pursuing a predator.,
Love as it
Turns sour
It is like a wilting weed,
Like a sucking wicked worm
Aiming to deplete,
Determined to spoil.
Love as it turns
Sour
It is unending hunger,
That bites to scare
Hefty bitter headache,
Targeting clear glorious minds.
