Space Poem by John Carter Brown

Space

Space

There is no up or down in space
there is no left or right
there is no morning, afternoon,
no evening, day or night

There is no time out there in space
no seconds, hours or days,
just the stars, and planets
on their planetary ways

Galaxies and nebulae
are swirling in the haze,
I hope that there must be
a living God for us to praise?

for I wondered, as a little boy
just why the skies don't fall,
and marvel, as an adult
at the wonder of it all.
