Spam I Am Poem by amber reed

Spam I Am

This is a song about 8th grade. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get grades that were anywhere near decent. Naturally, my dad pushed and nagged me nonstop to do better. This is the first verse and chorus of the song. It sounds better w/ the guitar part but... um... yeah. Tell me what you think of what I have so far.

You say
how have you applied yourself today
take a look at these grades

I say “Why must you nag me everyday
‘bout yada yada yada and foddy fay
I just wanna go outside and play
ain’t you the one who always says
don’t wish for what you can’t have
anyway.”

I ain’t no Einstein
no Oppenhiemer
can barely run the faucets in the shower
why won’t you accept me
the way I am
so burn the textbooks,
now lets talk Spam
