Sparing Discourse Poem by Kristy Artmann

Sparing Discourse

Rating: 5.0

Turn your head away from me
Walk past me without calling my name
Step to the side as I wonder past analogous territory
Notice me when I least expect it
Shake my hand on better terms
Outwardly shower me with intelligence when time is peak
Speak in timbre that is inviting when my ears are alert
Better understand my view while observing your own
Listen by holding your vernacular
Are we in accord now?
Am I clear enough for you?
