Spasmodic Vacuities Poem by nusrat jahan

Spasmodic Vacuities

Figment of unwanted fantasy became true,
the worst nightmares ever I was put through.
As all my feasible fears hid under the garb
Of shameless veil.
I found myself on the turn of pitch and toss,
like the quail looking for its cohort male.

The sharp cleavage between trust and lust
Went unnoticed and ignored my me,
my eyes were dazzled by the mistaken fidelity
which made me blind to see what was in front of me.

Reality was such a loutish to crate the
kind of smog in my mind,
so I became the misunderstood bait
looking for ways to be redefined!
