Speak No More—but Listen. Poem by Mohammad Younus

Speak No More—but Listen.

Speak no more—but listen.
The soul, long adrift,
has been swept beneath the symphony
of countless melodies—
as infinite as stars spilled
across the celestial dome.

Speak no more—but listen.
Not a single note scatters vainly.
Each tune, reverberating,
finds its way back to the heart.
Somewhere, in that current,
lingers a magic,
a spell that endears—
like the memory of a kiss
felt lifetimes ago.

Speak no more—but listen.
The thread that binds us to Love
is woven from melodies too sweet to name.
It hums beneath every breath,
settling like dew on the skin
of silent longing.
Peace unfurls in this harmony—
since before time,
it has been our tongue.

Speak no more—but listen.
What once was, still hums.
What is now, hums softly.
And what shall be—
already sings along the edges of dawn.
No childish illusion,
no fleeting reverie—
we are the dream
that does not end.

Speak no more—but listen.
Hush... hush... hush... hush...
Be still.
Be still.
Be still.

Speak no more-but listen.
Let the quiet cradle you,
suspending the rushing stream of illusion.

Speak no more—but listen.
In the silent pause,
the Song of Alast returns:
Am I not your Lord?

MyKoul

Speak No More—but Listen.
