Special Friend - Poem by Kathryn Thomas

You were someone I could talk to
When no one would hear me out
When no one would stay
When I said 'Hey! '
They all walked away...
But you would listen
Hear me out
And talk
You're a special friend
Who'll always stay
A special friend
To me

Special Dedication:
To Mr. Walter Collins, my 8th grade homeroom/math teacher, who did talk to me and actually listen when no one else would. ~Thank you! ~
