Spiral Stairs Poem by Daniel Miltz

Spiral Stairs

Appreciating the steps of skywatch
Escalier, with a rooftop porch
By means of a winding staircase
Over a patio place
Sensational in its structure of rails
Aye, yes, climbing upon, zigzag trails
Sudden, a grimace
Indeed, simply pause
Now, strolling, moseying on
While, looking down
Here on a staircase frown
That can't descend
Checkmate, suspend
Turning into dead end
