Spirited Quirks Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Spirited Quirks

Begrudge me not a glass of wine
Accept the drink full measure
For all we hold so dear and kind
Returns to us as pleasure

And if we're drunk with love or hate
The two shall have a duel
For Bacchus may postpone your fate
Sweet slumber of braying mules.
