Spiritualist Schemers, Sagebrush Scandal And Scoldings Poem by Debra DeVeney

Spiritualist Schemers, Sagebrush Scandal And Scoldings

Sue Stillwater segregated
Seventy Settlers, squish
spreading Sepsis, swiftly.

Slick Sam swears
Sister Sarah's sealing
salve shall spare scarring.

Smear sores, screeches
scratching, soothing scraping,
scaley, scurvy, scabs,

Selling shoddy snake-oil
Swindling several simple
southerners, silver sixpence,

Spencer's storewide sale
silk scarfs, slips, soft socks,
shoes, shirts, skirts.

Save scores, such stuff
sweet sugar, salt, syrup,
sewing supplies, saddles.

Sadie's Saloon shady
shenanigans, sheriff shot,
showgirl stabbed somebody.

Slim stole scotch, Sandy
skipped school, scoundrel steals
stallion, shackled side-by-side.

Saturdays Scottsdale Shining
star, Sundays Springfield scoop
sharing sour stories, silly smiles.
