Splinter

My best walking stick
wears an inner tube.
In Germany that is ein Schlauch.

Mein Zweitbester, my second best,
is a tubeless stick, ein schlauchloser Stock.
As it looks quite bare,
I call it Streaker and Starkers;
Flitzer and Splitternackt too;
though for the latter,
Splitter and Splinter will do.
