Spooning Poem by bill costley

Spooning

Physical memory awakens
after taking my pills:

I crave the flaky,
sensual, crunchy,
realizing a poet
can enjoy breakfast:

filling a yellow bowl with flakes
of Raisin Bran, pouring chocolate
soy-milk over them, spooning*

(30 MAR 11, Santa Clara CA) v7

* as an action-poem, it ends mid-spoonful, stuffing my mouth, unable to speak audibly
