Spring Is Here, My Friend Poem by Hebert Logerie

Spring Is Here, My Friend

I heard your voice
I am now on my horse
I do not mind if I don't see you
I do not care if I don't touch you
Because spring is here
I am very happy, dear
Okay, you had a meeting
You forgot that spring
Was in the air, love was passing by
Dear, I refuse to cry
Mother Nature is too beautiful
Life is too sweet and wonderful
I am fine; I know that you're still alive
I am not a quitter and I will survive
Oh! I was elated to hear from you
This afternoon, I went home to enjoy my honeydew
It is okay that that you didn't keep you promise
To my surprise, I am not a sorry mess
O baby, I am happy, at least I tried
When I got home, I was not out of my mind
I heard your voice
That was enough lust
To keep me going for a while
Be not afraid, I won't hang out on the aisle
To take a glance at your face
I will grant you the space
That you need and required
Yes, I cared for you, you are admired
That's all, I am moving on
As life goes on. It has been fun
There is no need to see your smile
I just drew your face on the tile
Love is better than lust
I dumped all feelings in the dust.
Spring is here, I am fine
That's a magnificent sign.
