Stagnant Pregnancy Poem by Tosin Abegunde

Stagnant Pregnancy

He that fathered my father
Murdered my mother
Right as a foetus
To building a world of no status.
When the mid-wives test,
The foetus kicks attest
To the feasibility of live
As against the experts' strife.
The accuracy of accurate
Results in ecstasy for hate.
Shocking past revelations
Disputes concerned relations.
Who will open the book,
That shows the way to the brook?
Only the lion heated are gallant,
Light and chicken-hearted rant.
The aftermath of mum's demise,
I'm therefore, left with no vice
As the beastly built brethren
Feathers a raging children
Who here-to-fore, clamour
To know tale of life unglamour.
The result of the scan
Negates the blood sample of clan,
The eyes of the diligents hold
To questions the big-belly of old,
If promiscuity is alleged for fun
And the good fight, forlorn
After the evidence of marriage,
Shall we call this a miscarriage?
