Stained Soul Poem by Felicia Manning

Stained Soul

Rating: 5.0

Only when I'm among the innocent
Do I see the stains upon my soul
My heart longs to be in Heaven with the Lord
Woefully,
The weight of the darkness within me
Keeps me pinned to the Earth
Evidenced by my shadow

Wow. it is a 2017 appearance by the alluring Felicia Manning! nice to see you reappear. if you just hung out with people like me, you would NOT see your stains! pinned? makes me picture you as a poor dead butterfly. : ( nice writing as usual. bri :) to MyPoemList, as i think is usual.
