Pretty porcelain doll,
Fragile,
Delicate,
Never to be toyed with at all.
Pretty porcelain doll,
An item hard to resist,
Temptations got the best of folk,
Due to this.
So they played,
Tossed the doll all around,
Someone slipped up,
The doll hit the ground.
Broken,
Shattered,
They rushed to glue it back together,
Too late,
The doll,
Now damaged forever.
NO Fourth Wife A certain person, unknown, has threatened to break bone.... or WORSE, if I do not 'admit'... that I'm a fantasizing twit. 'NO fourth wife I've had! ', or... so I've been told to say. So, my friends, if 'she' asks, just say 'Fourth wife? NO way! '

por·ce·lain 'pôrs(?) l?n/ noun noun: porcelain a white vitrified translucent ceramic; china. articles made of porcelain. plural noun: porcelains articles made of porcelain collectively. a collection of Chinese porcelain heather wilkins says metaphor. i rarely deal in such things. give me a real china doll and i'll toss it to and fro like i'm a juggler in a circus! i like the spacing of the lines and the use of toying when doll is the topic/character. broken is good; shattered is better. a good one-two punch. and she's down for the count! yikes! nice one felicia. to MyPoemList. this may be getting to be a habit, but i can't help myself. thanks for sharing. bri :)
a porcelain doll like life must be cared for gently sometimes repairs cannot be made a good metaphor
