Standing Out Poem by Azeez Ogundiran

Standing Out

Rating: 2.0

On this lovely night
In the month of March
I sat under the nature's canopy
Gazing at the sky
And I can't help
But notice the uniqueness of the moon
As it sat rigidly up there
Bright and shining
It stood out without stress

I realize I want to be like the moon
Shining, standing out effortlessly
Among the stars
Leading in the legion of stars.
