Standing There Poem by Sian Mein

Standing There

You left me standing there
Standing all alone
With a lonely stare
Just stood all on my own.

You ripped and tore me apart
Tore me with what you said
Twisted by your sour heart
Words repeating in my head.

I thought I could trust you
Trust what you told me
Thinking it was all true
Especially what we'd be.
