Star Crossed Lovers Poem by Maddie 'Rae' Berry

Star Crossed Lovers

In a undying wrath of vengeance and hatred,
a young love is created.
That fights not to be torn apart by their parents foes,
Living on forever escaping the woes.

As their destinies entwined, no one seemed to know why
they combined or how their fates became star-crossed.
A line that was not commonly crossed,
but those two did, heaven forbid.
Look what they did,
Romeo and Juliet made the bet.
To love each other from the moment they met and to never forget.

The love they would share over those three short days,
As their lives did not last long because
When one star dies to other soon follows.
Which became the lover’s case, as they took their lives to be together
In another time and life,
Away from their parents hate and strife
