Star Trek: Alert

Good guy crashes 125 or so years ago
Not rescued
Embittered
Creates extraordinary lifespan and
mechanical forces of vengeance

Meanwhile, universe grows peaceful,
not alert enough, Kirk enough,
to save the Enterprise,
but enough to destroy those forces
with heavy rock,
music not granite.

Embittered (Krall)
comes to the diplomatic hub
to do the job himself
Intones deeply 'How far they've come'
Too bad

Ending happy though:
Kirk ejects him into space,
spatializes him,
through the big O.

No surprise
Soon enough, a new
USS
Enterprise
