Star With A Smile Poem by Vickie Burkett

Star With A Smile

Behind closed doors
The smile begins to fade
The gold and latest fashion
Stored in a room behind a door with a lock
Strait to the shower to wash away the staring eyes
To the other room which hides the joggers the trainers and the old baggy t-shirts
Time to leave the house
The gold and fashion appear once again
The shutter sound is herd once more
As soon as the star appears from behind the door
The smile returns the one she hates to the core.
