Stardust Poem by Farah Taskin

Stardust

How many similarities there are between life and the Earth!
Just as life has its joys and sorrows, the Earth has its days and nights
We walk in the Earth without truly knowing it, much like we live our lives without truly understanding them
The starry sky is far more captivating than the Earth or life itself
Tinted with the colour of diamonds amidst stardust
A silent procession of lanterns across the vastness of velvet black space
Stardust, with a sprinkle of magic, resides in the cells of our blood
We imagine with supreme bliss and write poetry with utmost love
Our inner selves shimmer with stardust
The light falls like an angel from ancient skies
On the shores of life, we gather memories like pearls
Specks of stardust cling to those pearls
Our eyes hold stellar galaxies, and supernovas bloom in our hearts
