Starry Night Poem by Avalin Locke

Starry Night

Rating: 4.7

I'm lying on the soft grass
Staring at the stars
And you are with me
No need for words
You understand completely
And so do I

You are my dream come true
My kindred spirit
You've taken a little of my soul
I've taken a little of yours
We are connected as one
But not entirely

I can tell you anything
Knowing you won't tell a soul
And when you hug me...
I wish I could just melt into you
And when our eyes meet...
I wish they would never look away

I'm lying on the soft grass
Staring at the stars
And you are with me
