Twilight held us in her palm
As we walked down the beach like aimless wanders
Free as a bird
Don't look back now or you'll hesitate
Things are too perfect now
The waves glisten like diamonds
Against the majestic moon
They break at the surf
As we slowly walk
Across the deserted boardwalk
The wind blows
The shops are closed
And the sky is crystal clear
Who knows where we'll end up
Our hearts are open to any obstacle
Our footsteps tell a story
Of a girl and a boy
And all they wanted to be was free
