Stars are a necklaces for the moon,
the old, naughty tomboy.
Beautiful pearls that for him,
dance with heaven,
most, beautiful glow.

The rotten, attractive moon,
only once a year,
shines in full splendor,
so the stars never know
for which of them he shines.

Zvijezde i mjesec

Zvijezde su ogrlice mjesecu,
starom, bezobraznom mangupu.
Divni biseri koji,
za njega nebom plešu
svojim, najljepšim sjajem.

Lukavi, privlačni mjesec,
samo jednom godišnje,
sija punim sjajem,
zato zvijezde nikad ne znaju
za koju od njih on blista.
