Pick Me Up Poetry ~ Pokupi Moju Poeziju - Poem by Jankovic Zoran

If you take my poetry
like the flame of a candle
which burns only for you
will be feel the pain that's in me.

The flame will rise.
The wind of the past will
turn off a candle forever.
Smell of paraffin will be felt
in the dark of empty hole.

There is sommer heat in me
and you want a desert storm.
You wrote poem without sleep
And as a ghost from a bottle
disappeared with your wind.

You returned my lost letters
but you took my sweet Eternity.
Where you hid my Africa from dreams?
She is sticking out of your pocket
of a love apartheid.

I play with words and write poem.
I'm paying back a living account.
I'm not looking for a comfimation.
I've always believed in your lies.

All this was unnecessary.
You only needed to
Pick me up poetry.

Pokupi moju poeziju

Ako čitaš moju poeziju
kao plamen od svijeće
koji gori samo za tebe
osjetićeš bol koji je u meni.

Plamen će se poviti
Vjetar prošlosti će
ugasiti svijeću zauvijek.
Smrad parafina će se osjećati
u mraku prazne rupe.

U meni je ljetna vrućina
a ti želim oluju pustinje.
Pospano pišeš slova
i kao duh iz boce
nestaješ sa tvojim vjetrom.

Vratila si mi izgubljena slova
ali si mi uzela slatku vječnost.
Gdje si sakrila moju Afriku iz snova?
Viri ti iz malog džepa
ljubavnog apartejda.

Plešam slovima i pišem pjesmu,
Plaćam životni račun.
Ne tražim potvrdu.
Uvijek sam vjerovao u tvoju laž.

Sve je ovo bilo nepotrebno.
Mogla si samo da
Pokupiš moju poeziju.

Intriguing and fascinating write, I love the deepness in every line as you fight to become the winner in a situation that you have no control of! Great write! (Report)Reply

Thanks. It was a fight between a poetess and a poet. It has always been a draw and seven years, we have played a tie break. This game is like a lottery and I lost one month ago.
