Start Of Autum Poem by Jason Feasey

Start Of Autum

Summer is now over
Dark nights are drawing in
Shorts are now put away
Long sleeve tops
Are back out once again
Leaves go from green
To now dark brown
As they fall off the trees
Street lights on early
Lights on cars too
Due to the fog coming down too

Strong wind rattles letter boxes
But that is not the only sound
Owls are hooting as they fly around
Bats are seen flying
With foxes barking in the park

House lights all go off
Everyone tucked up in bed
To keep themselves nice and warm
Because autumn has started again
