Statuette Of Robert Frost Poem by Wesley Willis

Statuette Of Robert Frost

Rating: 5.0

Standing a statue.
A statuette of Robert Frost.
Stone of poetic knowledge.
Ants streaming by,
carrying bits of granules,
from Robert's grave.
Each poetic brain cell,
tells a story.
Statuette suffocating,
trying to say.
'Good fences make good neighbors'.
A stony gaze.
Not seeing or hearing the words,
But knowing they're there.
Ants streaming by,
all in line.
Statuette whispers.
'The Line Gang'.
Bringing poetic prowess.
'Mending Walls'.
Within a stoney mind.
