every word is accounted for
there are numbers
there is weight and probative value
you either win or lose
by the scales of another creature's
subjective mind

good luck
may you not rot
but grow

wisdom is slim and lean
and scarce
it is both hunger and thirst
at the common denominator
you know is pain.
