Step-Mum
We may not share a surname
Or have to same set of genes
But still you stood by my side
Through, good, bad and the in-between
Blood is not what makes us family
We don't have to share DNA
Family is knowing you will always be there
In every single way
When looking in the mirror
Our reflections aren't the same
Yet I know I have part of you
And your love is all to blame.
