Still Alive Poem by Pooja Bhatia

Still Alive

nyc to hear u r still alive
meeting u had taken a while
never hoped to c u again
but u r still alive....
mayb thats y i didnt say it was over
mayb i hoped for ur survival
u said dat things are changed
back then
wen u n me last met
but i say now
things have really changed
ur betrayal has taken me very far
it has tor me apart
from wat i was n wat i am now
i am now the king of my world
and u r jus an enemy troll
u r crying to get things bck
but i cant trust u anymore
i am not being mean
i am jus being me! ! !
worlds apart wat i was assuming to be
ur shadow or ur pet
now the game has changed
payers remain the same
bt positions have changed
u still feel that i will beg for u
u still feel i'll be crying for u! ! ! !
pity....
dats only a feeling left for u
i knw i am on a bad path
i would take my life away
i knw i have thousands of enemy
i knw i do wrong
but still there is a satisfaction
not a regret
those days are over
n new days have come over again
i feel like a prostitute who is proud of her job
because she knows she has choosen the path
the path in which she doesnt hav to obey
rules that others make
i am the king now
and u a begger
i thought i had distroyed u
but u r still alive
in my thoughts
u havent died
but u r there
as a memory of my pride
no matter how long i survive
no regret would overpower me....
jus a smile
wen i remember how i punished u
now the same scence repeates
smile on my face
cing u cry for help
love to c u burning
turning into ashes
n m still standing there
watching u till every part of urs is fully burned
now u r just a leap of ash
n i am free to dance
free to live and celebrate
my betrayal to u at last
killing u was the sacred deed of my life
hell is heven for me now
cause i killed a beast
now years have past by
but i still feel the same.....
never knew u would be so freash in my memories
but u r still alive
m happy
dat u survived! ! ! !
