Still Attached Poem by Hunter Skye

Still Attached

Fist full of life,
Still attached to your home,
Vibrant and bright,
Until you live on your own,
Throughout the wind,
Harsh rain and storms,
Still attached [: like the day you were born: ] x2

I say that I miss you,
Then you say you miss me too,
How I saw [: you are my home: ] x2
I'm still attached, and I miss you,

Flowers should stay grounded,
So they can live and glow,
Like the love we share,
From the roots we grow,
Mistakes are made,
But our lives still flow,
With the beat [: of us breathing so slow: ] x2

I say that I miss you,
Then you say you miss me too,
How I saw [: you are my home: ] x2
I'm still attached, and I miss you,

I say that I miss you,
Then you say you miss me too
How I saw [: you are my home: ] x2
I'm still attached, and I miss you
