Still Breathing Poem by Irshad Alam

Still Breathing

Expressions are dead for ever,
Gone are days when i looked clever.

Emotions have lost their identity,
Desires unfulfilled in reality

It was pleasure to dwell in Fairy Tale,
Torments of reality has made me pale.

Illusions have drawn some confusion,
Loneliness seems to be only solution.

Can i think or am i seized
Difficult to make it with ease

This curse is yet growing
Pulses left with no reading

Why is then that i am still breathing,
What is there that i am still pretending.
