Still Dream Of You Poem by Ragy Sandid

Still Dream Of You

How far do I go
To get you away from my dreams?
How old do I get
Before reality redeems

What I lost years ago
And have no right to reclaim
That which had meaning
Is now meaning without name

Happy ending in my thoughts
Otherwise on the ground
Asleep, my thoughts' recipe
For flipping my life upside down

And here we are
Sharing a welcome smile
We finally broke boundary
And got here without stepping a mile

Although you changed
And I have, something hasn't
By day I deny it has
By night, someone's heaven

'Still Dream Of You' could well be a paean of love had the longing for the beloved been fulfilled. Alas! it was not to be. Emotional expression. Thanks. That which had meaning / Is now meaning without name Although you changed / And I have, something hasn't
