Starred Scars Poem by Ragy Sandid

Starred Scars

Scars are like stars
The hardest ones to see are
The ones that are afar

Yet shine they do in their galaxy
As they teach in a a ray of fallacy
The fine line between found and fancy

In the black of night they return
In a dream or a memory burn
There is yet another reality to yearn

And stars and scars travel light years
They deal with the folly and the fears
Till someone through reality's reel tears

We thank, look and observe the stars
We should do the same for the scars
If it weren't for one or all, one wouldn't go far
