Still Veiled In Ambiguity Poem by Hazel Nut

Still Veiled In Ambiguity

Do you remember,
How we met for the first time -
Amidst ancient cave paintings?

I had helped you interpret -
Their implications,
As you stood confused,
Amidst their aesthetic ambiguity.

After five years,
You stand before me -
With the same confused aesthetic sensibility;
As I interpret myself to you,
Like those cave paintings -
Still veiled in ambiguity.
