Che cosa accade quando –
il gioiello apprezzato in vostra parte superiore,
omincia dargli le eruzioni, giocanti sui vostri nervi?
Inizialmente provate ad ignorarli,
quindi provate a registrare,
quindi provate a tollerarli,
allora voi provate a sormontarli.
Ma quando il mercurio aumenta all'apex
ed il vostro epicenter avete tremato,
sapete –
essuna medicina può guarirla,
a meno che la fonte sia rimossa.
Così,
lo alzate dalla vostra testa
e semplicemente se lo precipitare al pavimento.
Veda,
esso certamente si frantumerà nelle parti.
Quello è come sapete:
Cose genuine non danneggiate mai.
Tutto che brilli non è oro.
-----
What happens when -
The treasured jewel in your crown,
Starts giving you rashes,
Playing upon your nerves?
At first you try to ignore it,
Then you try to adjust,
Then you try to tolerate it,
Then you try to overcome it.
But when the mercury-
Rises to the apex,
And your epicenter quakes,
You know –
No medicine can heal you,
Unless the source is removed.
So,
You lift it from your head,
And simply dash it to the floor.
See,
It will surely shatter into pieces.
That’s how you know:
Genuine things never hurt.
All that glitters is not gold.

Great poem. Sometimes it is best to put the past behind and move on. Not many people can do that. Most are frozen with fear. This poem is an anthem for moving ahead! Thanks for sharing!
