Still Waters. Poem by Graham Jones

Still Waters.

Rating: 5.0

Still waters run deep or so they say
A life that wanders day by day
To seek a form to give direction
A past now gone beyond correction

A future masked by mists of time
Reverberate in thoughts of rhyme
Of deeds now done and in the past
To embrace that which you hope will last

An altered being a change in life
Freedom from the stress and strife
Tease the soul enwrapped in sorrow
Beguiling that which comes tomorrow.
