Stillness Poem by Linda Hepner

Stillness

Rating: 5.0

When you sneeze,
It’s not a breeze,
A waft of trees
Or buzz of bees,

It’s Hep! And Hup!
It’s whop! And whup!
It’s Whosh and Whoosh
It’s putch and pooch!

The split and splat
Has knocked us flat;
But you're the cat
I'm smiling at!

Hay fever was predicted many centuries ago by the great Nostril-damus, I believe. Fun one! -chuck

A beautiful symphony of sounds. This is what I call a poem with sound effects. Beautiful. Susie.
