Stolen Apple Poem by Francie Lynch

Stolen Apple

Should my child
Steal an apple
From the orchard,
I wouldn't throw
Her out.
That would be a sin.
The consequences
Could be life altering,
World altering
In certain circumstances.
Here I have a teachable moment.
Rejection is the milk of pride.
