Stolen From Time Poem by Dolores La Bianco

Stolen From Time

I left my heart in hour-glass
Buried in the sands of time.
Someone tipped the hour-glass,
Replaced the sands with wine.
Then whispered into the sparkling brew
"Let this one hour be mine." Time Is Eternity From the epitomy of Hell,
My soul cried out
In anguish and despair,
"Love me; love me; love me!"
And you held out your hand to me
For it hurt you to see me there;
And you loved me, oh, yes, you loved me.
One fleeting moment, you showed me
You could care.
