Stone Cold Heart Poem by Teresa Dearing

Stone Cold Heart

Rating: 5.0

Marble smile, austere glaze,
Cold, chilling maze,
This rock heart still,
Unmoved by the chill.

Oh, but could I find,
A key to unlock his mind,
And what would I find?
Emptiness~ nothing kind.

A pulse, I do not feel,
The heart is not real,
Marble has taken hold,
The heart is stone cold.........
