Stone Figurines Poem by Dr John Celes

Stone Figurines

Rating: 4.0

Broken rocks and pebbles strewn,
Weathered stones ignored by man,
in hands of skilful persons will
turn out to be pieces of art,
That catch the eyes of experts all,
And find a place in shows abroad,
Bringing fame to the craftsman who
has thought in ways, out of the box.
A warrior and a damsel met;
Love-at-first-sight sparked romance;
Enraptured by the dame’s beauty,
He made love till the sun set down!
