Stone Lips Poem by Alc Harris

Stone Lips

Rating: 5.0

Stone face hard lips cast heart
Always firm forever right
Grey eyes that shed not a tear
But for once I stood
At that face
Watched those tears falling down

And I wanted to hold you
Comfort you, your pain and mine
But my hands were frozen
Like you heart
That had taught me to hurt
Stay away

I watched you today
As you cried for our loss
And together we sat
Stone face hard lips cast heart
