Stone Of Grief Poem by Sharron Stephenson

Stone Of Grief

The wars of yesterday today and tomorrow fills,
The ground with stains and sorrows. The life that,
Was born. The stance of one and all. The gates of,
freedom. The life that was lost. The dance of,
Harmony. The wishes of truth that runs over,
The papers of ink ans stories.
The battle of strength that comes the,
Pain of wisdom and heartache. The stone that,
Can lay heavy on the shoulders of grief.

Words spoken or unspoken can mean a lot or,
Hurt. Grieve can always show, the emotions,
Of glass or bricks. The night of the ocean of,
Tears. The eyes that cannot close to sigh.
The hand that holds the heart of empty music.

The miles that has been run to hide away from,
Moment to moment of stares and sorry.
Birthdays come and go, Christmas feels like the,
End of the being. Space and steps into the,
Future can ease the stress of saying goodbye,
To the one spirit of love. The stone that can
Lay heavy on the shoulders of grief

Everyone has his own life to live with sorrows and joy. We should not judge people with their outside appearances. Not knowing what they are going through. Nicely inked.
