Storm Poem by Anitah Muwanguzi

Storm

Grief bold and furious
Sand filled eyes
metal chained legs
hurricane emotions
balls of fury
stomach sheathed in red strokes of flame

Feet bound in band aids of broken glass washed with salt

grief bold and beautiful

grief bold and furious
storms rowdy and reckless
embrace deceptive bold hues of scarlet rays of sun

Grief bold and furious
discontinued disconnected hopes and dreams
