Storm Poem by Kristen Philistine

Storm

The clouds turn gray
The sky gets gloomy
A storm is brewing

A few raindrops release from the sky
Then more trickle down
It starts to come clear that the rain will stick around

More and more start to pour out of the sky
Increasingly getting quicker by the second
It feels as if the rain will never stop
Suddenly hearing a loud pop

Thunder and lightning appear at a alarming rate
like this storm will never meet it's fate

Rainwater floods the street rapidly
Causing anyone who's in its way gasping for air
The flooding of water is destroying many things but it seems it doesn't even care

When will the storm come to an end
All hope is gone that it will ever descend
