The Devil And Angel Poem by Kristen Philistine

The Devil And Angel

There is a devil and a angel in my head
The angel motivates me and tells me I'm doing great
The devil tells me everything I do is wrong and everyone hates me

They always fight for my attention
Always contradicting each other
Trying to prove there right
They NEVER stop arguing

My head pounds from there non stop yelling
My head pounds from the angel questioning every comment the devil makes
My head pounds from the devil loathing every single thing I do
Telling me I'm stupid at any chance it gets

I've had enough of there constant bickering
I've had enough of letting the devil win
Tricking me into believing all the terrible things it says

stop
stop
stop
STOP! !

Will I ever get a break?
