Storm In A Teacup Poem by Philo Yan

Storm In A Teacup

A drop of rain
on your window pane
does not mean to say
that a thunderstorm
will flood your pain.....

The rain may pour
for an hour or more
But it does not matter
You know it doesn't matter...

A gentle breeze
blows softly through the trees
Doesn't mean anything
or there's a hurricane humming....

Don't start running
everytime you hear it's coming
Because it doesn't matter
It really doesn't matter...

One tiny word uttered
that you may overheard
Doesn't mean that my love
for you is dying......

Please don't cry
over second hand lie
Say it doesn't matter
You know it does not matter.....

It's a storm in a teacup
Brewing up double
Almost any little trouble
It really doesn't matter
If it pitter pitter patters
all day long......
